    I recall the forerunners of the Seattle SWAT (the TAC squad as they were) during one of the great unrecorded events of the 20th century – the invasion of the United States by Canadian anti-war activists in 1970 in respons to the US invasion of Cambodia:

    They weren’t very nice people then, and I doubt they’ve improved with age.
